iOlliN Terms of Use

Welcome to iOlliN, Inc., a pioneering platform that merges the worlds of crowdfunding, Semi-Fungible Tokens (SFTs), and e-commerce to bring your innovative ideas, social causes, and entrepreneurial dreams to life. By accessing or using iOlliN, online, on tablet, mobile or any other device, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use, along with any amendments made over time. This agreement is binding upon registration, use, or access of our services.

2: Account Registration and Use

To join iOlliN’s community, users must register an account, providing accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account. iOlliN reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms of Use, engage in fraudulent activities, or otherwise disrupt the community environment.

  1. Projects and SFT Marketplace

Project Launch and SFT Sales: iOlliN offers a unique platform where entrepreneurs can tokenize their innovative ideas, social causes, or business ventures into Semi-Fungible Tokens (SFTs) for crowdfunding purposes. To launch a project, entrepreneurs must provide a clear, honest, and comprehensive description of their initiative, including objectives, benefits for supporters, and the purpose of the funds. Projects can encompass a wide range of categories including social causes, business ideas, products, or services intended for market entry.

Supporting Projects: Supporters play a crucial role in bringing these visions to life by purchasing SFTs. This act of support is not just a transaction but a vote of confidence in the entrepreneur’s vision. The purchase of SFTs is governed by transparent terms, ensuring supporters are fully informed of the project’s scope and their role within it.

  1. User Roles and Interactions

Entrepreneurs: Defined as individuals or entities launching projects to sell SFTs, entrepreneurs are responsible for the authenticity and legality of their projects. They are required to fulfill any promises made in their project descriptions and to engage with their supporters transparently and respectfully.

Supporters: Individuals who purchase SFTs to fund a project are termed supporters. They are encouraged to engage with projects that align with their interests and values. Supporters must adhere to the platform’s guidelines, respecting the community and the projects they choose to back.

Both entrepreneurs and supporters are bound by iOlliN’s terms to ensure a positive, productive, and safe environment for all users. Engagements on the platform should foster a spirit of innovation, support, and community building.

  1. Funding Mechanics

Funding Goals and SFT Sales: Projects on iOlliN are funded through the sale of Semi-Fungible Tokens (SFTs), each representing support for the project’s goals. Entrepreneurs set a static funding goal by determining the number of SFTs available for sale. Once all SFTs for a project are sold, entrepreneurs must launch a new project for additional funding. This model ensures clarity and commitment to project milestones.

Overfunding, Refunds, and Rewards: In the event a project attracts more interest than anticipated, entrepreneurs are encouraged to communicate clearly with supporters about the use of additional funds. While iOlliN facilitates the initial sale of SFTs, the platform encourages direct resolution of refund requests between entrepreneurs and supporters. Entrepreneurs are also responsible for defining and fulfilling rewards, detailed in the project’s “Giving Back” section, as a token of appreciation to supporters.

  1. Intellectual Property Management

User-Generated Content and IP Rights: iOlliN respects the intellectual property rights of all creators and users. Entrepreneurs retain ownership of the content they upload, but must ensure they have the necessary rights to use and tokenize this content. Supporters acknowledge that purchasing SFTs does not grant them ownership of the project’s underlying intellectual property, unless explicitly stated by the entrepreneur.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: To maintain the integrity of the platform, iOlliN employs a community-driven rating system for projects. While iOlliN facilitates the tokenization process, it does not actively monitor for IP compliance post-listing. Users are encouraged to report any suspected infringement, and iOlliN reserves the right to take appropriate action, including removal of content and suspension of accounts in violation of IP laws.

iOlliN is committed to adhering to all applicable laws and regulations governing digital assets, e-commerce, intellectual property, data protection, international trade, and crowdfunding. Our platform continuously monitors changes in legal frameworks to ensure full compliance and to safeguard our users and their activities.
